In order to determine suitable site towards hillside, the important factors are incorporated, namely accessibility and topography, land cover, and economic by using multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) method in decision making process.

The objective of this study is to develop Geographic Information System (GIS)-based land suitability analysis model considering accessibility for locating optimal sites to the hillside development against environmental threats and economic pull factor. Therefore, it is very crucial that their location should be carefully chosen.

The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Expert Choice software were used to compare the alternatives based on the criteria derived from the Delphi process.Ībstract-Urban development is the continuous process towards hillsides which has been a challenging issue for developing Asian countries such as Malaysia due to limited flat land. The criteria identified by the experts were profitability, capacity of production, the degree of investment, marketable, production ease, and time of production. The Delphi technique was used to elicit expert opinions about the criteria for evaluating the usages. Based on this information and the evaluation of present conditions regarding Iran’s demands for citrogypsum, the best priority was introduced, and strategy selection and proper programming emphasized for self-sufficiency. In this paper, acid citric production and condition of citrogypsum production in the company were introduced besides the definition of citrogypsum production and its applications around the world. Citrogypsum is a by–product of citric acid production and is considered a valid residuum of this company. Kimia Gharb Gostar Industries Company (KGGICO) - the largest producer of citric acid in the Middle East, is one of the companies that applies biotechnology. Today, the advantage of biotechnology, especially from an environmental aspect, is undeniable compared to other technologies. In addition, these results were analyzed for the firm’s decision makers. Best subcontractors for Yeşim were determined based on the model results. The model, named AHP, was analyzed using the Expert Choice software. In a sense, this matrix is the model of this study. Then, authorities from the firms were interviewed in order to formulate pairwise comparison matrices using the Saaty’s importance scale. To solve the problem, firstly, the main criteria and relevant sub-criteria, which are of importance for Yeşim and Nike, were defined. The aim of this study is to solve the problem of Yeşim Textile, a contractor company, about the selection of the best subcontractor for its customer Nike. Therefore, the selection of subcontractor for the contractor company is a problem. To meet these criteria, contractor companies have to select the best subcontractor. Firms have to take into consideration several criteria like cost, quality and delivery -on-time in order to survive the global market conditions and to maintain profitability. The project will also present a thorough sensitivity analysis to demonstrate the confidence in the drawn conclusions.Ībstract: Turkish textile firms work under a heavily competitive atmosphere in terms of prices due to globalization. Expert Choice software is used to conduct the experimental assessments. The model includes building an analytic hierarchy structure with a tree of hierarchical criteria and alternatives to ease the decision-making. In this work, a systematic methodology is presented under the consideration of multiple factors. The data collected are to be used to create a hierarchical model for contractor selection that is represented by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). This project suggests AHP technique for contractor selection problem in Indian context. AHP method and “ Expert Choice” computer program is to be employed for calculations. The model for decision making in construction management by using multi- criteria methods was created and is to be applied to a real case study. The main problems of construction management were identified and possibilities to solve them are discussed. Management are outlined in this research work.
